Fve months later, the top entry on my blog is a Christmas story. That's a touch embarassing.
I have excuses--oh, I have excuses, but you don't want to hear them any more than I wish to write them down. Instead, let's get a plan going to solve this problem.
The last time I had a blog proper was the late 90s/early aughts, and keeping it up to date was never a problem. But now there is Twitter, which scratches the itch to bellow at the populace without much actual writing taking place. What is needed here is a project.
I've done a thing in the past on Twitter called the Netflix Challenge, in which I watch every movie in my queue and report my findings. The blog would be a good place for that, but... I've been in an anxious headspace lately, more so than usual, and I'm kind of sick of negativity of any sort at the moment, even the toothless kind where I tell you that, say, Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn wasn't very good. (For the record, there's no storm of metal and Jared-Syn does not get destroyed. It's blatant false advertising.)
Instead, how about this: I'll blog every day in June, and every entry will be about Stuff I Like That's Good. Books, movies, music, whatever.
Yes. This plan is foolproof.
Talk to you then.
